All classes have a dress code requirement. Students not properly attired may be asked to observe class only. For student safety, all hair must be secured back from the face in a ponytail or barrettes. No jewelry in all classes. Absolutely no street clothes, t-shirts, or stomach baring outfits in any dance class.
For your convenience, we have a dance shop on the premises.
All Ballet/Demi Pointe/Pointe Students
- Solid black or pink camisole leotard and pink convertible tights
- Pink ballet slippers
- Hair in a bun or short hair secured with clips or barrettes
- Demi-Pointe/Pointe shoes must be in good repair and have sewn ribbons and elastics (most DP or Pointe shoes last 3-4 months)
- Skirts may be worn at the teacher’s discretion
All Jazz/Hip Hop/Tap Students
- Solid color leotard with pink or black tights, jazz pants, or solid color unitard
- Black jazz or tap shoes
- Black jazz sneakers for hip hop
All Modern/Lyrical/Acro Students
- Solid color leotard with convertible tights
Dance Basics/Ballet Basics/Preballet/Combination Class Students
- Solid color leotard and pink tights, ballet skirts above the knee
- Jazz pants or jazz shorts for jazz and tap only
- Pink ballet slippers for girls, black for boys
- Black jazz shoes and/or black tap shoes
Boys/Men’s Attire
- Solid white or black t-shirt
- Black jazz pants or black shorts
- Black Sansha ballet slippers or black jazz or tap shoes
Adult Classes/Fitness Classes/Dance with Me
- Attire and shoes as recommended above
- No jeans and no bare midriffs
- No street shoes should be worn in any studio for cleanliness/health reasons
- Sneakers may be worn if wiped down with an antibacterial wipe, or are reserved for indoor use only
