Accelerated Program
We will have four levels of this program based on technique. These students will be selected based on their effort, ability to take correction, and year round study, in addition to timely attendance and classroom behavior. Each group will be expected to perform in our spring recital and may opt to participate in our fall musical. We will offer additional outside opportunities such as competitions and community events and classes with guest master teachers at the studio and at other events. Students are required to attend class regularly (no more than one miss per month, not due to illness) and attend all spring recital rehearsals as listed in this brochure. Students who cannot keep to this commitment will be asked to enroll in other classes. Auditions will be held yearly as part of our camp sessions. This program is open to the entire student body as well as students outside our school.
Level 1
Students can take ballet, jazz, tap, or hip hop. Each class will be an hour.
Level 2
Students can take ballet (2 times per week), jazz, tap, modern, lyrical/contemporary, or hip hop. Each class will be an hour, except for ballet which will be an hour and fifteen minutes for each class (demi pointe and pointe will be studied).
Level 3
Students can take ballet (2 times per week), jazz, tap, modern, lyrical/contemporary, or hip hop. Each class will be an hour, except for ballet which will be an hour and fifteen minutes for each class (demi pointe and pointe will be studied).
Level 4
Students can take ballet (3 times per week), jazz, tap, modern, lyrical/contemporary, or hip hop. Each class will be an hour, except for ballet which will be an hour and a half for each class (pointe will be studied).
